Simple Scrapbooks is the BEST!!!

So just last night, I was telling my Scrap Your Scraps class at Scrapbooking in Paradise about what a Simple Scrapbooks groupie I am and how I love their contests and told them how to enter - because chances are if you enter - you'll win sooner or later - they have a ton of contests & they are so much fun! So I was so thrilled this morning to see that I won last weeks's die cut challenge on the Simple Studio Blog - check it out here.

Scrap Your Scraps Class

We used this layout as a model for a page we made in my Scrap Your Scraps class last night:

With that as a model, I made this page base:

We did a lot of playing with the Fiskars border punches last night. I goofed a little on the hot pink strip - but decided to use it anyway. The border punch I used on the green paper is so cool because it also embosses.

Scrap Your Scraps Class November 24 at Scrapbooking in Paradise!

• 6:00 pm-8:30 pm Scrap your Scraps! Location: Fee is only $10.00 and your instructor is Katie Scott

Bring your scraps to share Its a lot of fun seeing all the scraps! and at the end we trade! so you go home with "new" stuff!). We'll scrap fast & furious & fun! We'll make 12x12 pages and cards all in 2 hours. Yes it can be done! Please bring your basic supply kit with adhesives and ask us what color scraps to bring.

Allison is 5!

Happy Birthday Ally Girl! I love you!

Charlie & I spent the morning volunteering at Allison's school and having the Thanksgiving feast with our little blessing. We are thankful indeed for this girl.

At about 10:30 last night Allison told me she wanted a mermaid cake for her Birthday - Ask and you shall receive my little one. I was pretty pleased with myself for whipping up this beauty. Happy Birthday my girl. I love you!

Scrapbooking Bleeps and Blunders

I had this layout all pasted together when I noticed that I didn't line those yellow lines up - actually they were lined up but then one of them got to be upside down before I pasted. Am I going to fix it? Heck NO! / This was for the Design Your Life Class on BPS. Good thing we're not getting graded!
