I used some Sassafras month spots and paired each one up with a wallet sized photo from each month of the year 2010 on plain grey cardstock. Then I machine stitched around the months to create a grid. I used a fine tip blue sharpie for the journaling about each month and some number stickers for the year. (note that I photographed these pages in the wrong order - the 2010 - goes to the far right.
I used the collage feature in Picasa to put 4 photos on 4x6 canvases so this layout took 3 photos. Since I have my photos arranged by year and month in Picasa I could keep going back in the years until I get to 2004 and do a month by month layout like this and I think I will put that on my (mental) list of scrapbook pages to make.
Which I would do right now, but I'm being called to play with Barbies!
