So a few posts back I think I mentioned how I forgot to freak out a month before my birthday which is my yearly routine. This year was a bit different. I didn't have any angst at all about turning 42. Instead, my subconcious brain was working on a reboot that it didn't bother to tell my daytime brain about. For the last 2 weeks, I've been waking up with missions and I've revamped many parts of my house; the entire office - like major, major changes after 15 years - I've been working all day everyday for the last 15 days - today is my first day off!; and my own self. I've visited the eye doctor, ordered fancy wrinkle cream and yesterday, after three years of being my own DIY hairstylist, I spent 5 hours in the hairstylist's chair getting a complete overhaul of my now very blonde hair. The boys and I completely love the new hair but my girl is not so happy that her mom's hair is a drastically different color than hers. I can't stop flipping my head around since my hair feels so light and flippy. And my husband says he keep wondering who that hot blonde standing in the kitchen is, I'll take that. Big changes, lots of tweaks and improvements. I'm 42 and feeling fine.
P.S. I used my "Hair" pinterest board to tell my stylist what to do; Here's my Pinterest Hair Board Link: http://pinterest.com/katiescott/hair/
