The Big Picture Classes Big Idea Festival Day #4 Challenge by Nichole Magouirk was to make a scrapbook page recording your goals. I've always been a BIG believer in writing down goals, since I was little and then this idea was reinforced in college when one of my classes had Steven Covey's 7 Habits as part of the required reading. Back in college I wrote down my life goals and even drew pictures of my future house and family - I can't seem to find that book (which breaks my heart just a little) but my life now looks a lot like the plan I wrote down in college down to how my house looks, what I'm doing and my family structure. I have been thinking I need to do that again for the next 20 years. Meantime, I'm going to try to take a smaller bite and just focus on the rest of this year - 2012 - and focus on only three things that I want to accomplish before the 12/31/12.
Here's the journaling on my Goals Page:
{Note to Self: Hey Katie! There is STILL TIME ENOUGH in this year 2012 to accomplish some of those New Year's Resolutions! Focus on these TOP 3 OK?:
1. Write that Improv-Scrapbooking Book & really learn how to make e-books.
2. Maybe 50 pounds is too big of a goal - just try to get to #160 by 12/31/12!
3. Make sure the 4th Quarter at Work is Awesome & Save up for a Ski Trip to Utah!" K 9/7/12
