Last Day of School is Tomorrow!

Its almost over - The Last Day Of School is Tomorrow! and 1st Grade + 3rd Grade will (hopefully) be over in our house! Whoo Hooo!

Awwww Yeah - tomorrow is the last day! My kids are excited and Charlie and I are relieved and looking forward to summer camp. Its been a challenging year, but over all very good, but that 3rd grade homework? Yikes. And the FCAT?? Crazy thing! Thank goodness its almost over! I've got to think of some kind of special thing to do tomorrow night for the last day celebration.

Meantime, here's what we've been up to lately:

1. The kids had "the best field trip ever" to a local water park - not the kind with slides - just the kind with sprinklers - they report that it was awesome! I skipped this field trip and worked today, lots to do for me at work. I did go to several field trips over the past year for each kid - its just that this school has many many many field trips, so I can't go on all of them, the kids still don't seem to totally get this concept because at their old school there were only a few field trips so I always made sure to go, so they expect me to go every time.

2. I've been doing Bikram Yoga for almost 2 months and am alternating days between hot yoga and my stepper routine. I'm getting closer to the goal I made last summer, but no, I don't particularly want you to ask me about it. And Yes, I do find it annoying when people keep asking how many pounds & then when I tell them they act like its not fast enough for them. I'm going at my own pace, thank you very much.

3. We had a birthday celebration last night with a delicious chocolate cake from Publix and Charlie got me a Pandora bracelet. Here's a peek at the birthday celebration last night:

So now I'm 41 years old. Other than those little wrinkles between my eyebrows, I have no problem with 41. Life is good.

Ok that's all for now - I'm going to try to write on this Stories Blog everyday so I can do Project Life (at the end of the week or month) and keep up that way and so I can go back and have material for scrapbooking pages.
